Automatic Swing Gate Install, Terranora, NSW

If you’ve come across our site before, you’ll know that from time to time we share updates of recent installs.

Today we’re featuring just one swing gate installation, that we completed recently in Terranora, on the southern end of the Gold Coast.

Because we install, rather than just supply our gates, chief installer Leo gets to visit some great locations and properties across the region.

(Me? I’m stuck here looking at this white wall in the office!)

Terranora is such a location. In fact, it might be one of those places where the real estate agent’s “million dollar views” is actually true!

Now that’s a view!

The install called for double swing gates, with each leaf mounted on a rendered concrete pillar.

The pillars were built & completed by Paron & Phillip Builders from Tweed Heads, and included power for the gates, intercom and decorative lighting.

The custom gate was made in aluminium, with vertical tubes and a satin black powdercoat finish.

The gate motors

Nice Hopp gate motors were selected for this particular job, as their articulated arm design is ideal for installs on larger size brick or concrete pillars.

Their design also includes fewer moving parts, allowing for greater reliability and quieter operation.

The video intercom system

Completing the installation, an Aiphone JO series video intercom system was also included, with the control panel mounted onto one of the pillars.

We’ve gone ‘MADagascar’!

. Just like our friends in the picture….. Alpha Gate Automation has also gone ‘MADagascar’

It’s been a busy year thanks to all your support. There were a few stand-out gates that we added to our automatic swing gate collection and the one we would particularly like to share with you is the new ‘Madagascar’ double swing gate below.

We’ve been to Saigon, Madagascar…. and who knows where you will take us next? We hope this gate inspires you to get creative and think outside of your current zone.

Recent Boom Gate Installations

Well, winter is truly upon here on the Gold Coast, and we’re long overdue with an update for you! The daylight hours may be shorter, but that hasn’t stopped our installers being rushed off their feet, with jobs from Byron to Brisbane.

In this post we’re going to feature some recent automatic boom gate installs we’ve completed. Boom Gates are suited more to commercial properties than residential ones, and are ideal for applications where pedestrian access may still still be required, such as car parks.
