If you have an existing swing gate and would like to automate it, the factors to consider are:
- Is it a single gate or a pair?
- How wide is the gate?
- How heavy is the gate?
- Are your gate posts/piers sufficiently strong enough?
- Do the gates swing freely with minimal friction?
We strongly advise that you pay particular attention to the relationship between the hinge and pier measurements.
