Please note that much like home wi-fi though, signals sent between the base station and control pad are vulnerable to interference from other building structures, wireless devices, and power sources operating nearby.
For this reason, suitability for these systems must be carefully addressed prior to the installation.
Remote wireless intercoms
Operating via a mobile phone connection, these devices use a SIM card, with the access request being sent to a nominated smartphone.
This provides a greater range of flexibility as remote access is possible without the occupant needing to be onsite or at the property.
